LG VX-4600

The phone was available last week, so I tried to order it as an upgrade on the web on Thursday & Friday (8/19 & 20) The system wouldn't let me order the service plan that I wanted so I called Verizon Wireless & was on hold for about 1/2 hour. I left a message but they didn't call me back. On Sat. I tried again on the website, but the phone wasn't there anymore! After 3 more phone calls and about 3 hours of my time over this weekend, I still don't know why the 4600 is no longer available (one idiot tried to tell me that the 4500 was a newer phone than the 4600, and that the 4600 was retired. Ha! Newer models have lower numbers than older models?? Yea, right!) Anyway, I finally got a helpful supervisor and I'm getting another phone free! I kinda think that either there are problems with the 4600 (although a tech rep said that he didn't know of any recalls), or else they're out of stock. Good luck finding it now!
