As I posted, I have two new Lg4600 phones. One for me, one for my wife as a secondary line. I was able to finally get a sales rep (i.d. # TB310) who was able to send me the phones. The invoice for my phone lists the full retail price of $219.99, a unit price of $69.99 and a discount of $69.99 for a total price of $00.00 for my phone. Now I don't know if the sales rep put the order through as a "new every two" of what, but I do know that I did not pay anything for my phone, I paid $69.99 plus $8.99 for shipping for my wife's phone.
I placed the order on 04/27/04.
Don't know what to tell you if you can't get the phone or if you've been told that none have been sold or whatever. I have two.

keep trying.

Are you on the East Coast or West? Also, if you are East Coast, did you call the 800# on verizonwireless.com?
I called a few times and was told that it was available for an upgrade, then told it wasn't, but should be available in the stores w/in a few weeks. I checked with a local VZW direct store today and was told that they would not be getting this phone in stock. It's very frustrating that existing customers are unable to purchase this phone.

Thanks.

It truly amazes me the info, or lack of it these people provide!!

I have spoken with 17 different sale/CS people in the last 3 weeks and not 1 of them has given me the same answer/reason as to why I can't get this phone. And as an example of poor biz practice, I have a sales rep that is willing to give me a $100 credit on my bill if I go and purchase the phone at a non-company store! Know don't take me wrong, as I think that is very admirable of them. However the phone sells on-line for only $69, so they are spending $31 bucks more than they need to???

Now that I have given up on this phone I hurt myself because all of the prices on the existing phone went up as of Monday. The next sales change date is the 24th of May so I will just h...

Thanks, but is your service on the East Coast? Also, do you by any chance have the reps name and the 800 number? I tried the one under Contact that is listed for the on-line orders and they couldn't find anyone w/the ID you listed previously. I too am frustrated especially where some are able to get the phone in an upgrade and I am not! Thanks for any info you can give.

Chances are that if you added a second line to your already existing service, or you upgraded to another phone; the reason you did not get charged full price is because they put you under some type of contract.
