Wallpaper size/format?
thx for the info Ringtone. just another couple questions, for wallpaper, is there a size/format they have to be? and what about ringtones. you said mp3s work...what bitrate, extension name, etc? thx alot for the help

I personally used DeviantArt.com to find my wallpapers, that way I didn't have to resize my graphic files. I did load in another few sizes and they did not function as well. I would recommend something like 150x150 pixels as your max. The phone displayed GIF & BMP formats just fine, haven't tried JPEG or any others.
As for the MP3, I used the highest quality bitrate and chopped out 15 seconds of the Cake song The Distance. If you lower the bitrate you should be able to use more of the song, the quality will just be less. Leave the extension as MP3, BitPim doesn't identify MP3 so in order to put it on the phone you have to drag & drop the file directly into the Ringtone folder. Don't use BROWSE for File because it won't see the MP3. The LG...
