Secondly, as far as data transfers are concerned here's what I've got going. I've looked around at different shops and found that everywhere that is selling a data cable for the LX5550 also shows the VX6000 in the lists of compatibility. So instead of trusting my credit card to just any junky internet shop I went over to www.newegg.com and purchased a data cable for the VX6000 from them.
