Force Digital Towers
Can the LX5550 force digital towers only? My last cell phone, you had to go into programming mode to make it force the digital only towers. I live on the fringe area of analog and it takes up too much battery switching back and forth. I can't seem to find how to change it to digital only. Any help appreciated...

Hit Menu and 0. It'll ask for a service code which should be all zeroes. Then, go to option 3, Force Mode. Then choose CDMA only. I am assuming you would want this option if you are on an 800 mhz cellular system. If not, then you would want PCS only, which is the 1900 mhz system. Hope this helps. Have a good one!
