operating systems are honestly getting to the point where personal preference is overtaking actual quality. each of the major 4 have there ups/downs. so it basically comes down to what you plan to use your device for. the most obvious is blackberry, which is second-to-none when it comes to mobile e-mail. they are the originator of "push" e-mail, and they are still the lone OS to have TRUE "push". if you are basing your decision of off entertainment, then you have to start comparing android and iOS. I MY OPINION ONLY, i believe that iOS is TOO specific to iphones. Android seems to have more compatibility with more platforms. and lastly, palm. if you have OCD, get a palm. organization, efficiency and just overall user friendly system makes palm the choice for those who contact a TON of people. let's not forget, palm is the originator of threaded messages.

again, IMO, i think android's open platform allows for a limitless phone. it will constantly grow. look at how quickly android has closed the gap on iOS! give it a few more years, and android will stand alone atop the wireless world. again, simply my opinions. hope it helped!
