So I know that the iPhone has no memory card. This sorta worries me because if the phone gets damaged or dies does that mean any pictures etc are gone unless you have synced to a computer?? This is a major concern because I use my phone to take a lot of pics. Can anyone tell me more about this?? Thanks

just use your computer to charge it once a week or so and it will be fine. The sync never really takes over 5 mins for me and I cycle through apps like water.

yes it is all backed up, from programs, to contacts. Again, this is something that has come up over 3 years ago and discussed till the electrons wasted, almost caused the sun to go super nova.

Charge once a week or so? You ARE a dreamer! The iPhones are notorious for short battery life. Full discharging also shortens the life of the battery.

I'm pretty sure he meant to use the COMPUTER to charge it once a week or so (for syncing purposes only), subsequent charges in between would absolutely have to be done via standard/alternate charging means. To assume you can use any smartphone with one charging per week is re-dunkulous! 🤨

Yea, I was strictly talking for update purposes. But in regards to the battery life being notoriously short... I am a high end user and hardly ever (if ever) don't make it through a day on 1 charge.

Sync with iTunes regularly. It makes a full backup of the phone's content on your PC. If you have to change phones because it goes kablooie, you can restore all that data.
