You guys are making for a great read.

I've worked for Verizon, Suncom, T-mobile, Sprint, and AT&T ... every companty multiple times. Here's my two cents on this sitch.

Some customers are just not pleased with anything. You think Verizon is going to save you money? Haha, riiiight. If you're just concerned about making calls then get a basic flip phone. MOST smartphone customers (on all companies) get as little talk time as possible and stick with larger Data and Texting plans. And most people are going further and further away from UNLIMITED talking ... especially in the last 5 years.

As for signal ... I make sure to tell my customers (currently working for an AT&T autorized retailer) if we do not get signal where they live before I activate a new account. AT&T's signal is fine in flatter parts of the world, it's when you get to the mountains they have problems. Same as Verizon, though Verizon does have stronger signal in a lot of areas.

Both companies are just out to make money (AT&T and Verizon) ... my advice ... find a rep you can always go to that will call customer service for you and fix your bills, help get credits on your account, make sure you're getting the best bang for your buck ... and don't scream and pitch fits when your iphone breaks and there's no insurance. Cool
