Ok. before I begin, let me state that I am not an iPhone owner, an AT&T or Verizon customer, or an Apple fanboy. I do not own any Apple products.
That said, why does everyone seem to make a big deal out of this talk & surf at the same time deal? For years, a lot of iPhone customers on AT&T have been on a angerfest about how their calls get dropped a lot and 'this phone is not a phone', bad experience with AT&T, not to mention that video I saw titled 'F___ you AT&T'. Now that this phone has come to Verizon, again talks about how this cannot surf and talk simultaneously, or how it doesn't have 4G, or no SIM card.
Look, I'm not calling out those folks. Since I am not an iphone owner, I cannot speak for your experiences. But now that the phone has come to another carrier, can't you atleast take light of the fact that you can hold your calls without dropping? What's the sacrifice, that you cannot surf at the same time?
Bottom line, there are tradeoffs. You gotta pick what you want.
Also, for people complaining about the lack of 4G, Verizon just launched their LTE network for consumer use. Once its more widespread and well-established (it is brand new tech), I am sure Apple will release a new iPhone with full 4G flavors.
