internal phone antennas usually have a negative gain, so if they have acheived a high positive gain with this wrap around antenna design, then it may be acceptable. However, I've never seen that, and knowing all of the problems with this antenna design in the GSM version, it's hard to feel good about it... you would think Verizon would approve a phone with weak reception, as it makes the network look bad, however, I've seen many phones like that from several different manufacturers, and they keep approving them.
