Any drop calls?

Better or worse reception than your old phone?

Other observations?

The reception is the amazing part. The phone's ability to receive and hang onto a signal is excellent, but the audio quality is the best I've experienced with any CDMA phone. The bluetooth also has excellent range - I am able to walk almost anywhere in the house with no drops.

My first day I had it I had to work from home, where I made and received 30+ calls, not one drop or burble or "hello? hello?!"" that I had with my previous phone, an LG Dare. On some days I had to stand in an upstairs corner bathtub to carry on a conversation - not conducive to business.

LG Dare doesn't suck. I am still using it for going on 3 yrs, and can't decide to jump to iPhone 4 or wait for iPhone 5 or 4G phones to come out.

I could continue on my Dare into the summer to wait for iPhone 5, Dare is still meeting my needs (but I use it without a data plan and only use it for voice and text).

My fiancee also joined my new Verizon plan and came from an iPhone 4 on AT&T. She noticed during her very first call how much clearer the call quality is on the Verizon version. No more echo or tinny noise in the background which plagued her on almost EVERY AT&T call. I have to agree, the call quality and signal are a huge improvement over anything I've ever experienced.

She commented that the battery life is a SLIGHT drop off compared to the AT&T version (obviously b/c of Verizon's CDMA technology) but battery life has still been great for me, I've had it off the charger for 31 hours 23 minutes and ...
