Does anyone know how to use the video chat function on this phone??? Do you need to download a Application??

The forthcoming Gingerbread update is supposed to include the video calling feature.
However, in the meantime, go to the Market and download Tango. I've installed it but haven't tried using it yet. First time you run it, you'll see those on your contacts list who've installed it and can be video called right away.

Your guess is as good as mine. yesterday, a gal at VZW tech support told me it's DEFINITELY in the works for the Droid Charge, but couldn't give a time frame.
She claimed to have a Droid X with the Gingerbread upgrade. The biggest improvement she's noticed is DOUBLING of the battery life.
