Got mine today!

So far so good. Picked it up today at a BB in Southern California. They had a BUNCH in the cabinet.

Almost had it yesterday (5/2) but someone walked by and told the salesperson that it wasn't going to be released until today (5/3). So I went back this morning.

Haven't really had a chance to play with it yet, letting battery get a full charge, no pun intended.

Why would you waste our time posting something that hasn't happened yet? Unless you were a winner of the droid landing contest. You don't have it since it hasn't launched. Go away. 😳

How do I post a picture here?

Short version is the store sold it to me by mistake. I tried the thunderbolt for a couple days and was disappointed with the battery life. They had the charge on display. I asked about it, they said they weren't sure if was available yet, but the system put the sale and activation through. Nothing sneaky. I didn't even know it wasn't released until I looked the phone up here. So, if you feel the need to tell me to go away, you're entitled. If you want to tell me how to post a picture here, I'll post one of the phone on top of today's newspaper so you can verify I took the picture and the date.

So after having had it for almost 2 full weeks, what do you think thus far? Is the LTE blazzzing fast? Does it ever drop from 4G to 3G? That question is really important to me, if I get a 4G smartphone, I want 4G data, not 3G.

So with the 1GHZ processor, and LTE how does the Droid Charge handle loading flash on webpages.

Do you consider yourself an average user, or a heavy user?

To give you an idea of the kind of usage I do in a month I usually use around 4-5gb's a month of data.

Wound up taking it back. Moderate user.

LTE was great. Battery was good. Screen was amazing.

Felt kinda cheap. Interface was slow and looked a little too cartoonish.

In the stock calendar, you can not click on the location and open the map. Contacts does not allow you to send select contacts directly to voice mail. These sound like small things, but I'd become very used to these.

Back to my Droid X.

I can't believe Verizon has the nerve to charge 300 bucks for this phone! ITS A FASCINATE PEOPLE. Exact same internals with an added 4g radio. They upped the display but not enough that a side by side comparison could tell them apart. anything with less than 512 mb of ram is a joke! Spot on wjspector with the slow and cartoonish UI. Touchwiz is by far the worst of all mfg. UIs.

liquifiedgr00ve,

Sorry to burst your bubble, unlike the Fascinate, with this phone you can talk and surf simultaneously whether or not you're on 4G.
