How does induction charger work? never heard of it but it sounds like they are doing something for the better. Is that a solar type of built in charger which I heard talk of
Induction Charging means you can set the phone onto a special mat or pad to charge instead of having to plug in a cable. There are exposed metal contacts on the back of the phone, usually by way of a modified battery door that you have to buy separately, which are supposed to link up with the mats but not get shorted by setting it on a random metal surface.
It's not solar, although I'm sure someone will make a charging mat with a solar panel if they haven't already.
Most marketing material will tell you this is "Wireless Charging," but that's an oversimplification that just confuses the average consumer. It still requires physical contact, there's just one less wire to manipulate.
