Is this phone going to replace the Droid X when it comes out this summer?

I think the X is the closest match to the bionic so probaably.

The Droid X will still be a top phone on the 3G network. If pricing is different between 3G and 4G, then the Droid X will continue to be a 3G flagship model. Otherwise, yes, the Droid Bionic will replace it.

I mean the point of spending all that money to do the upgrade would be for LTE and front facing camera?

I think I will stay with My Droid X for a while as they are figuring out and perfecting LTE.

I can't wait a little.

I highly doubt this will replace the Droid X. this phone has a dual core processor, front facing VGA camera and alot more.. the DROID X will go away soon.. Verizon just stopped having rebates on them, which usually means it will be on the discountinued line.
