AT&T isn't keen on front cameras. Based on our speed tests, the phone and/or network can't do data fast enough for video chat anyway.

But I'm not talking about a jailbroken iPhone 4; on a regular iPhone 4, wi-fi is the only way to use the facetime feature.

There is no "probably" about it, one must be on wifi to utilize Facetime. The original poster asked if the phone had a front facing camera, simple question. The first responder was attempting to bash AT&T by stating "the phone and/or network can't do data fast enough for video chat anyway". Again....huh?

Facetime doesn't use AT&T's network for precisely that reason. It only works over Wi-Fi.

There is a feature that "searches" for your face when you turn the camera around to you and while automatically take the pic for you. That way you know you will end up taking a good picture of yourself even if you can't see yourself while taking the picture.
