custom announcement menu?
Is there a way to customize the announcement menu when you use voice recognition to get ot your phonebook or download alternate announcement menus?
I upgraded to version 4 software (t45vzv04) and I like the way you can choose which number within a single phonbook entry to call - mobile, office, etc. The way they structured the voice menu, however, is longer than it needs to be. The script seems written for someone who's using the voice commands for the first time and needs to have the instructions as to what to say clearly explained to them. After a few uses, however, you know what to say when and don't need to hear Ms. Vx4500 repeat "Joe found. Choose a number to call. Say the label, home, mobile, office, office2..." I end up just using the phonebook the old way with separate entries for each number a person has just so I don't have to go through the whole menu.
