Bluetooth headset and adaptor?
I just tried the Jabra FreeSpeak BT250 headset, and the Jabra A210
adaptor. The A210 is significantly smaller and lighter than the
previous version, which is what prompted me to try it.
I can get it to work, but the sound quality is relatively poor, and I
can't initiate voice commands in "Driving Mode", which is what I was
hoping for. I can answer and hang up on a call straight from the
headset...but to initiate a voice command, I have to hit the lower
button on the left side of the phone.
What concerns me more is the sound quality....one person said I
sounded like I was on a golf course...far away with lots of background
noise. And my reception of his call was much less than
clear...although that could have been his phone, or the fact he was
driving.
I'm use a headset virtually all the time...I just leave it plugged
into the phone. But I'm getting tired of trying to untangle the cord
from around the phone, and getting the earpiece pulled from my ear
when the cord catches on a drawer handle. So I was really hoping to
switch over to a BT headset.
Does anyone have any comments, similar experiences or recommendations?
TIA
Ed
