Hi,

I am thinking to get new instrument and I am not able to decide which instrument to go with - LG 4500 or Motorola V265. I understand that one was camera in it and other does not, which is not really a important criteria for me. I am considering following factors:
-Instrument should not heat up when you are in converstation for about half to one hour.
- Battery life
- Ease of use
- Able to easily download stuff on phone - ringtones or other easily (but not that important).

Please can you share your experience about it.

Thanks in advance for your time and input.

I've tried Moto phones and I found that the batteries ran down very fast!!! I had both extended and reg. and the battery life was not that great. LG battery life is better than Moto but it goes fast as well. I've had the LG 4500 and I like it a lot. But I now own the LG 6100 which is phenominal. The Moto color screens are not as bright and vibrant as LG and that black external screen is difficult to see in the light. I wouldn't go to back to Moto. The sound on the Lgs are great, better than Moto. LGs are more user friendly than Moto, too many menus on the Moto. I say go with the LG 😉

I agree with all that HONEY37 said. I think that the LG is a great phone. The voice dial is over the top and the speaker is convenient. I happen to be selling a new LG 4500 if interested. You can see my other posts. I am simply ready to move on. I have not had a good opinion of Moto menus and ease of use.

i am a verizon rep and the 4500 is the way to go if you don't need the tri-mode.

I realize that you are concerned about your phone getting warm, but out of the few phones I have owned, I love the 4500 the best. You will find that there is a slight bit of warmth on the keyboard, but that shouldn't hurt anything. In fact, it might be nice on a cold winters day. Just kidding.

Hope you get it.
