Soft vibrate?

I just got the VX4500 and really love it except that I find it has a very soft vibrate compared to my old Nokia. Because I live in a very loud New York City, I find I'm often missing calls because I can't hear or feel the phone.

My questions is: Does anyone know if the extended battery vibrates harder than the standard battery that the phone came with?

Thanks,
Doug

Hi Doug,

It's hard for me to answer your question because I have only used the extended battery. I was tempted to try the other one to see if it made a difference but I can assure you that this one certainly vibrates loud enough. You can sure feel it when you pick it up with your hand. Sorry I can't help further.

You may notice that as you adjust to the phone you become more sensitive to the new ringer. I missed a few calls at first but have only missed calls lately when the phone didn't ring then showed up with voicemail. I use the phone in the original plastic holder, and there is no way I can miss the vibrate. By the way the extended battery will fit in...
