😳 Has anyone else noticed how Venison just jumped the price UP a whopping 1/3 on this phone from $119.99 (when introduced) to $159.99 as of Monday 3/15/04?
Along the way, it was raised $10.00 to $129.99 first at the store, then also on their web site.
I guess they're still trying to clear inventory of the old VX-4400, which they're currently offering for $89.99 AFTER $30 rebate (the same price they introduced the VX-4500 for on 1/28/04!).

These silly pricing games are one reason I'm holding off on renewing my 2-yr contract with Verizon.
Another reason is the unsettled class action case ongoing since 2002, which promises substantial credits to customers for a new or renewed contract among other things. They're now supposed to settle t...

🤭 I scrolled on the "spell check" - hence Venison instead of "Verizon" - well, 'dead meat'! 🤣

Well, I stopped by my favorite local Verizon company store yesterday afternoon, and guess what - they're still selling the VX4500 for $129.99 (before $30.00 rebate). So this time, it seems the Verizon online store (web site) is higher by $30.00. Unless they just posted it wrong - that wouldn't be the first time!

You wouldn't know they all worked for the same company, would you! 😕

Verizon - We're NOT looking out for you!

the higher price is only on the web, which i think you just noticed. however, in store the phone was actually only $109.99 (before the $30 rebate) when i got picked up mine on the 15th of march, not $129.99 like you saw. you may want to look into it, cause it should only be $79.99 after the rebate at a verizon wireless store. i am sure they just had the wrong price out, and at $79.99 after rebate this is a deal you shouldn't let slip through your hands...

the price of the phone is 79.99 AFTER a $30 mail in rebate....so you would pay $110 up front and recieve $30 back in the mail....making it 79.99

The reason why some customers thought the phone was 129.99 is not because of an error by verizon...but rather a marketing sceme. They include the accessory bundle ($50 in value) and add it to the phone price and say that the phone COMES with everything.....Soooo
79.99 + 50 = 129.99 (after a $30 mail in rebate with a 2 year agreement)

keep in mind you dont have to take the accessories if you dont want them...however i would recommend it....the accessories are a leather case, headset, and a car charger normally costing you $80!! In the package bundle it is only $50

hope that cleared it up...
