I've had my phone for under 24 hours, and it's restarted twice on me. I'm going to go exchange it on Saturday, anyone else experience this problem or hear of it?

THanks

Hasn't happened to me. Sounds like you got a defective phone. I've had my 4500 since the day it came out and haven't had any issues except for the known software problems.

The ones I'm familiar with are:

1. Can't use speakerphone with phone closed.

2. When you adjust volume during a call, the volume reverts back to the original volume.

1. Mic is on the inside, so I don't see how it will work with it closed.

2. Have to hit OK to set new volume.

i actually had this happen to me last night. i sent a text message, then closed the flip. after it said sending for a second or so the phone shut off and re-started. then, i check my outbox and the message i sent wasn't there at all so i had to re-type it and re-send it. it's the first time i happened to me, but i have only had this one for a week. i am sure there are minor software bugs with the phone, since it's only a few months old, and is going to take a little bit of time to work out them out. i am not worried about it right now...

i have had the 4500 for about a month an the restarting problem began about a week ago. 2-4 times a day the phone will restart itself - sometimes in the middle of the night. i brought the phone in today and verizon was nice enough to provide me with a new phone.

i never had that problem either, but i only had it for a few days. i noticed a few buttons stick (the number doesn't keep going, the button just seems to get wedged in the corner) if you press them firmly. verizon is always great with customer service though, you shouldn't have a problem. then there is always the insurance if you don't want to pay an arm and a leg if you damamge or loose your phone...
