Symbol on the "1" key

Does anyone know what the symbol under the @ on the number 1 key do?

To me, it looks like a little film container.

That has to do with voice mail. If you hold down the one key it should dial voice mail. 🤣

I hate when they automatically think you want your voice mail on the one key. Nokia does this to all of their phones and LG doesn't normally, i hope this isn't the start of a horrible trend.
