I JUST BOUGHT A LG VX4500 PHONE.
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN USE PALM POCKET PC SOFTWARE WITH THIS PHONE? I THOUGHT I READ SOMEWHERE THAT YOU COULD. I SEE IN THE VOICE SCHEDULER , UNDER NEW EVENT , THERE IS A HOT SYNC ICON LIKE THE ONE USED IN PALM SOFTWARE. I HAVE CALLED AROUND , BUT DIDN'T GET ANYWHERE. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. AS FAR AS THE PHONE GOES, I HAVEN'T HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH IT YET AND I LIVE IN THE STICKS HERE IN N.Y. . THE ONLY GRIPE I HAVE IS IT'S HARD TO GET THE COVER OPEN QUICK DURING A CALL . BUT EVERTHING ELSE SEEMS COOL. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME AT

I'm not sure if I understand your question so I'll give you a couple answers (maybe one of them will help).

You won't be able to take software that runs on your Palm OS or Pocket PC device and run it on your cellphone. Without getting too technical, the operating environment on your phone is something called BREW (from Qualcomm).

If you want to sync contacts with Outlook...you can do that if you buy the connection kit from Verizon.
