when I get a call from someone in my contacts it announces
that there is a call and according to the contact name it tells me who. My problem is that aweful digitized voice. Is there a way to change the way it announces who's calling?

I had a problem with my sisters name because it's different, so I spelled it out phonetically(sp?) and it pronounces it good.

But can you turn that off without going into "Manner Mode"?
I have had the phone going on 2 days & that voice is driving me & the others around me bonkers! 😳 It is just too LOUD!

driving mode and manner mode have nothing to do with each other. just close the flip and hold down the lower/smaller side button for 3 seconds to turn driving mode on/off. and as far as i know, there is no way to adjust the vloume of the voice. i never tried it, but the only way i think it could probably be done is by lowering the speakerphone volume, but that's just an idea...
