LG VX-4500
get it now / Digital signal
for some reason my phone won't connect to get it now, like at all, not sure why it doesn't work but i don't really care. but the other question i have is that in the user manual and online and everywhere, even in the phone's list of icons, there is a "D" symbol that apparently indicates digital signal, which is the only kind of signal this phone gets, yet i have never seen my phone display a digital signal indicator. i can make calls fine though, i wonder what the deal is with that.

I noticed that in the manual as well but have never seen a "D" on my phone either.

I picked up a VX-4500 this weekend at my local VZW and had the same problem.. Kept giving me this "could not connect to main catalog(534)" message. Called up Verizon and they told me that they forgot to activate this option when they programmed my phone, and corrected it before she was done with her sentance.
