Losing Reception

Does anyone notice that when you try to make a call it loses the signal completely and then gets it back which makes it longer to get a call out? Also I see there is no way to get into vibrate with the side keys.

Yes I do notice that as well. It takes forever to make calls plus it drops calls once in a while. This is my second one too, verizon replaced my original thinking it was software defects with certain things I was doing,but it stills does the same things. I think I'm going to get the Samsung A610 or LG vx6000, not sure yet if I want to spend the money or save the money.

I've not noticed any of these things, perhaps it's your calling area?

This definitely happens in the ATlanta area. It can take up to 30 seconds to connect a call. It also is of network for a few seconds after a call preventing a second call.
