If it were 4G, it would be a larger phone. It would be the Thunderbolt. What's the point in that? Not to mention, they haven't come out with a 3G phone for Verizon in forever, so it was needed. Some of us won't be getting 4G anytime soon (in the next year even), and are tired of the phone we have now. I have the Moto Droid original and I, for one, am thrilled to have a new option.
