just delete the phonebook entry from the sim and store it only on the phone. then set the ringer ID for that phonebook entry. i think it will work.
Actually if u store a phonebook entry both in the SIM and phone memory in the same name, u will see that the SIM entry appears before the phone entry. this is why u have to delete the SIM entry.
NOTE: u have to store the mp3 ringtone to phone memory (not in transflash)
