Ringtones problem...
Hi there, i've got a huge problem with my ringtones... When i apply a mp3 ringtones as a ringtone, u know when somebody call me the mp3 ringtone doesn't ring... But it's very strange because i can play the ringtone normally but when i'm called an other ringtone's ringing
...
I guess you know that you cannot apply a ringtone from the memory card, also, you cannot play a variable bitrate mp3 correctly, which is a huge bug! However i guess motorola are not going to fix it in any way! Also i noticed that when I apply a full size 128kbit mp3 (something like 4Mb size) and add a vibration as a ring style apart from the sound the phone becomes very slow, mine is a clean one, i am looking for a way to make it even cleaner, but still have not found software to let me delete the default ringtones and images, just the phone is a little bit slow for what they intended to be used for! Another hughe problem, sometimes the phone hangs, never happened without any explanation but for example several hours ago i was downloading so...

just delete the phonebook entry from the sim and store it only on the phone. then set the ringer ID for that phonebook entry. i think it will work.
Actually if u store a phonebook entry both in the SIM and phone memory in the same name, u will see that the SIM entry appears before the phone entry. this is why u have to delete the SIM entry.
NOTE: u have to store the mp3 ringtone to phone memory (not in transflash)
