Is there an easier way to get to contacts? I've been going to phone, then touching the little card next to the name. Is there no contact icon? Surely I'm not over looking an entire icon?

And how do I create a new folder on the SD card? I would like to organize my picture's.

Oops forgot. Hobby has super task killer on his Droid x. Works great. So o downloaded it on my tb. It doesn't work. I killed internet connections then opened the internet up & it was still running on the same page. It's force closed a few times and shut my phone off once.

Recommend one for tb?

You shouldn't need a task killer on any current version (>2.1) android phone. ESPECIALLY if you are running sense (TB) or Blur (motorola, unless your hubby has a custom rom).

The system is designed to automatically stop processes that it isn't using, and setting a task killer interferes with the mechanism that it uses to determine if a task is being used at a given time; in fact, because the task killer can kill tasks that shouldn't be killed, then requiring them to be started back up, it can actually hamper performance. It can also make things like your alarm clock not work, and worse.

So the recommendation, at least from me, would be "don't"

To think everyone else is recommending one to aid with battery life. But I researched this more after your post and found two sites that say the exact same thing you did.

But I did download watch dog. Does not kill apps. But maybe I should delete it?

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do in your first question. Sense is slightly different than "stock" android that I am used to, but in the full app drawer, there should be a "contacts" icon, that you can drop onto one of your screens.

If you are looking to create an icon for a specific contact, so that you can, for example, send a text or call that contact without opening the phone app separately, that's a "shortcut", which is possible, but I'm not sure how to do it on Sense. I like ADW.launcher, but if you use a third-party launcher, you may lose some of your extra (Sense) functions... in ADW, you just long-press on the screen, like adding a widget, and one of the choices is "shortcut" and then one of the choices is "co...

I finally located the contact icon. I was over looking it. It's called people on this phone.

Personally I'm blaming Sears. I've been fighting with them about my master protection agreement. So its all their fault I was preoccupied. Lol

I'll look at the app you mentioned. But other than that its back to the old fashioned way of creating folders. Oh well no big deal, finale.

Thanks
