I honestly don't know what to think, was toying with the idea of ordering an unlocked gsm one off of HP's site. $450 is not bad for a smartphone outside of contract. I think I will wait and check one out in a VZW store on the cdma side. Only real turn off, is no wifi.

really no wifi? the first model had it, i coulda sworn the one our palm rep was showing us had wifi support, this was for vzw, i kinda liked it but its not for me. it was pretty snappy, the 1 ghz processor really helped reduce lag, I'm just hoping the battery wont be a joke, the first palm pre had ok battery and everything about this phone form wise is the exact same, keyboard screen etc etc, but I'm wondering if the increase in processor speed will correlate to a decrease in battery life, who knows

I went over to GSMarena, yes it does have wifi. Nevertheless if I decide to get one, I will first play with the VZW one before making any decision.

WebOS rocks.

I can understand the complaint about the keyboard - but die-hard palm users love it. And I do value the ability to type one-handed (which is one of the many reasons I'm a Blackberry kind of gal). ;)
