Having been a Blackberry user for 10 years I like my Droid 2 a lot - with only a few complaints like battery life and I need Touchdown for Exchange... But how do you get to "garbage" having not seen the Pro yet and what Motorola phones have you used hands on to make that claim. Not a Motorola fan per se this is my first phone from them ever... Anyway, just wondering how you get to garbage as I have the Droid 2 and don't get there? Thanks.

It DOES have 3G. 🤨

Like a previous poster said, for those used to BB's build, this provides a better transition into the world of Droid.

ive had 3 original droids and 3 droid 2's they all have failed miserably, nothing works on the phones any more than 50% of the time, total trash, and i meant no 4g.

Thats probably because, like most people who buy smartphones, you're a moron and either don't know how the phone works or expect it to be able to do unrealistic things.

4g isnt even released for Verizon yet and there are only TWO 4g phones that are out right now (on WiMax, the inferior technology at that!).

Yeah, Voyagerboy, I have seen several of you "Droid" hating posts and they all say the same thing. Much as you want them to make something more than the "same thing" you should try a new argument. 4G has not launched for Verizon or AT&T and as far as a business app phone like BB or Droid Pro, 4G will not be as useful to them as most might think. 4G will free up the bandwith for 3G users, and that will be the bigger benefit for business users

In addition to that, if you live in an area with spotty 3G coverage (as voyagerboy does, if you look at some of his posting history on the Droid forum, I think it is. Or maybe it's the DroidX forum. Or the Droid2 forum. He's said pretty much the same thing in about every 'droid___' forum he can find on phonescoop.), then you are quite likely to not have much better luck with Verizon's 4G coverage. On top of that, most areas with spotty 3G are not exactly going to be at the top of Verizon's list for 4G anyway, so for people in that situation, it may well be two years before they see ANY benefit from 4G.

Anyone care to take bets on how long it is before voyagerboy is complaining baout how Verizon has officially debuted 4G, and he went o...

He knows as much about phones as Abe Lincon did about rocket science. Best just to ignore him
