Wifi "lite" calling, HSPA+, Swype, 3.8" screen (that's right, not everyone likes the retrogressive, back-to-big movement), DLNA, Froyo, FFC (usable over the network AND wifi) and a host of other awesomeness = one bad ass phone!
My only gripe is if it's like the G2, then there's no native access point tethering. Luckily, there are apps for that which don't require bluetooth or a usb cable as they both are bottlenecks.
Cheers

I was thinking about upgrading to the G2 (which is still an excellent phone), but after seeing the specs for this phone...I may just wait!
Better yet, I may wait even beyond this phone, because I guarantee you, this is a sign of things to come!

I still think G2 is a better buy..I personally never liked the mytouch series. but front facing camera is good. phone itself doesnt look appealing to me. I guess we will have to wait for full specs. I will say T-mobile is finally understanding the cell phone game. coming out with top notch phones. Thanks T-mobile giving us good phones.....Finally!!!!! 😁

I think in the end it'll come down to preference.
The Vanilla Android on the G2 is pretty appealing, though.
I'm going to wait and see what HTC comes out with next. I'd like to see an HTC phone on T-Mobile that has the ability to be a wi-fi hotspot (like the upcoming smartphone from LG), but it makes me wonder if T-Mobile would charge extra or if T-Mobile would only put that feature on non-HSPA+ phones.
Hmmm...

G2 is good phone, my issue with the phone is it does not have the facing camera. Does any one have information on the HTC Glacier rumored to be released in November?
...
So I'm guessing that you would use the frontward facing cam for video calling and such, correct? With the Fring app?
As for the Glacier, I haven't heard any recent news about it.

Tethering is coming it requires unlimited data and a 14.99 upcharge
...
Source?
Inside info?
I take it that would be for USB tethering and/or the mobile hotspot feature?
