V810 release date!!!!!
I just found out by someone at Motorola that the V810 will be released in JANUARY!!!!!! So hold off on other phones people this one is the champion of all phones!!!! Video, Camera with flash and its smaller than the AUDIOVOX, and the LG. The new LG7000 due in JUNE 2004 will not due video!!! So this is the one to get!!!!

WHO AT MOTOROLA TOLD YOU IT WAS GOING TO BE RELEASED IN JANUARY? IS IT A RELIABLE SOURCE, WHAT DID THEY SAY AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS PHONE HAS VIDEO. Record up to 15 seconds of video! I spoke to MOTOROLA customer support. They guarenteed that the phone will be out sometime in january for verizon. They said it was supposed to be out for christmas but delays due to them not from VERIZON!

UNFORTUNATELY, THIS PHONE DOES NOT HAVE 15 SECOND VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITY. I SPOKE TO MOTOROLA DIRECTLY ALSO AND IN THEIR SPECS, THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND A REFERENCE TO VIDEO RECORDING. ALSO IF YOU DO A SEARCH FOR V810 ON GOOGLE, IT AS WELL STATES THAT IT HAS JUST A STILL CAMERA.. ALTHOUGH IN READING SOME OF THE LINKS, IT SAYS THE PHONE HAS "EXTERNAL" PICTURE CALLER ID. I GUESS THE EXTERNAL PICTURE CALLER WILL NOT BE FULL COLOR SINCE THE EXTERNAL SCREEN IS NOT, PLUS THE EXTERNAL SCREEN IS SMALL TOO...I ALSO CALLED SPOKE WITH 2 CUSTOMER CARE REPS, 1)FLORENCE, ID #87485, AND 2) SABRINA ID#84390 AND THEY SAID THE PHONE SHOULD BE OUT IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR. are you sure the v810 will be coming out in january, do u know a date? i seen it on ebay in different colors do u know anything about that? and doe it have a caller id on the out side?

the v810 does not have video capabilty, and i would be astonished if a phone came out not even 3 months after the fcc aproved the id, more like may if we are lucky

I AGREE WITH YOU 100%, THERE IS NO WAY THAT THIS PHONE IS COMING IN JANUARY, ALTHOUGH I WOULD LOVE IT TO.....IF YOU LOOK AT VERIZON'S TRACK RECORD, IT TAKES THEM AN AVERAGE OF OVER 8 MONTHS TO RELEASE A PHONE AFTER THE FCC APPROVES IT. IE...VX6000 8MONTHS, 8900 7MONTHS, I600 18+MONTHS....
