Sending voice messages and saving them as ringtones???

OK..somebody tell me if they think this will work....If I record a small portion of a song as a voice message, then e-mail it to my home e-mail, then change it to .mid, then send it back to my v810, could I then save it as a ringtone??? What do you guys think?? Will it work??
