Received a e-message from a USCC EE CS rep late last week who advised NWeb should be up and running for V810 March 8th (yesterday).

Can anyone confirm that they have in fact activated same on their V810?

I use it. It's decent as long as you stick to WAP-based sites, which keeps the data downloads to a minimum. Even then, its sluggish at times but again decent overall.

There are some nifty features such as predefined keystrokes for entering web addresses. The navigation is great but I it takes some time to learn at first.

I think nweb can be considered a BREW killer. If you stick to WAP sites and don't care for nifty graphics, you can get most of what you need with nweb and save some $$ instead of having separate BREW apps for each interest.

I give nweb a solid B, with the biggest downer its sluggishness at times.
