Tough to find. You might try posting something on the Buy/Sell/Trade area on Howard Forums. I'm lucky, I have two Verizon v810 phones. Good luck.

How do you like them? And do you mind sharing what they ran, wondering what they are going to cost me?

Thanks!

The v810 is excellent. It is unclear why Verizon decided in the end not to carry it, though I believe it was strictly marketing. I paid a premium because the phone was not out yet for any carrier -- over $400 on eBay but I do have the last software written for the Verizon version on both units. The other v810 I got from another source and cannot further comment.

Its unlikely you'll find a non-used one, but the price should be a lot less than what I paid. I would say $200 or less given the phone is in good condition. The key is getting one with Verizon software, either 23.30.54 or 23.30.55 software.

This phone rocks and the build-quality is excellent...way better than the v710 and v265. I like Verizon but not carrying the v810 was a ver...

If it has been activated on USCC, then you will need the sublock code. I would do a search here and also Howard Forums. Good luck!

The v810 while having a great form and build factor is nonetheless way overrated IMHO. I had one with VZW software and was still disappointed with the RF and call quality. I ended up selling mine. To be honest it certainly wasn't worth what I was able to sell it for.

A couple of things to remember. You will never ever be able to get a software upgrade for it as VZW never took the phone. Also, it is not supported by VZW so you are SOL if you have issues. And the OLED is all but useless. Way too small. The stadard battery has a very short life and the extended battery makes it a bit bulky and boxey.

kenstee, pretty much agree. The USCC is a better version really. Ships with the extended battery (yes, its bulkier) and the software is more refined because its not beta. The USCC v810 works better in Chicago perhaps because USCC is 1900 mHz here and Verizon is 800 mHz -- not sure if that makes a difference but after using both versions, this is my take.

Still, the v810 is a good phone. Wish a refresh of it were to happen...use the external display of the v265 and the 6100 series Qualcomm chipset instead of the 6050.

One more thing, its selling well at USCC. I can flat-out tell you its RF is better than the VZW v810. Despite how much I like the phone, if the RF were lousy, I would not use it. The RF is not as good as the v710/v265, but it works wherever I go and does it flawlessly.
