I am a retail sales rep for VZW in the midwest area, we just recieved our daily general info e-mail. One thing it contained was a link for the callout card (the 5" x 5" card next to the display phone) for the V810. It said we should be recieving the cards by next teusday, 10-05. This e-mail did not say when the actual phone is coming out though. I imagine that it will be sometime soon.

wow, thanks, and this is great! news. I am really impressed with the features of this phone in such a small size and look forward to being able to get it from Verizon (I just hope the earpiece volume is a vast improvement over the V710).!!!

Yeah, this is the phone I have been holding on to my T730 for. The V265 looks cool, but the screen is too tiny. I played with a V810 at the US Cellular accross town, it seemed pretty nice.

Vast improvement is an understatement!!!!!!!!!! It's like night and day! The 810 has great earpiece volume.

The one real downside of the phone is its very small OLED. Tough to read.

The earpiece volume is good, similar to the v60i. The speakerphone is very good and its "duplex" too.

A v810 for Verizon is just good news!!!

Bummer. That's disappointing. The v60i earpiece volume is inadequate in my opinion, not much better than the v710. Only the timeport and startac models had good earpiece volume. I was hoping for a real improvement... like the old Motorola models, or maybe the LG's, which have good earpiece volume.

Well, I do not have final Verizon software on my v810 and its quite possible there have been tweaks that address it. Still, its definitely acceptable though not as good as the StarTAC/Timeport...otherwise I wouldn't be using the phone.

The earpiece volume on my 810 is great!! I usually end up turning it down a notch or two. No problems on noisy NYC streets, etc. I had a 710 so believe me I know what bad is. And no searching for elusive...

YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!! I have been waiting for this phone from VZW forever. Excellent update. You would'nt know how much it would cost outright, would you ? In other words, w/o activation or contract ? 🙂 😁 😲 😉 😛

Based on your experience, what's the general timetable: From the time you receive a callout card until the time a new phone is actually released and in stores?

It seems to be different for every phone. We recived the 8910 & 9900 phones from audiovox last week, however we did not yet get the callout cards. Unfortunatly, there is no set timetable.
