Motorola V810
Motorola V810 Review
A Motorola Rep. dropped off a demo unit of the 810 and I've had the opportunity to use the phone. Here are my findings:
Size & Feel-
This phone is nearly the exact size of the Motorola V60. The company also used some of the features from the V60 such as metallic plating. This adds a very slick feel to the phone that I found to be enjoyable. The buttons are responsive and have a great tactile feel. Also Motorola took advantage of the side button concept and several quick key features are now usable with the side panel buttons, such as the camera, voice memo, voice commands & volume control. Rating A+

As a USCC sales rep. all I know is we will be getting the V810. Verizon has the phone in testing but I do not know if they will carry it.

It's unlikely the v810 will be on Verizon. Obviously, it was supposed to be on Verizon but Verizon is no longer interested. Period. Whatever issues the phone had, and there were some, have been corrected. I'm sure Verizon made its decision based on marketing.
I'm bummed it won't be out for Verizon and wish USCC customers the best. It will be a hands-down winner. And I would go to USCC if it had better nationwide coverage and plans.

2. Does USCC have anything similar to Verizon's America's Choice Family Plan? USCC has good coverage in the Chicago area, but I am concerned about other places such as Mobile, Ala., Cleveland, Hartford and San Diego. It would take a lot for me to switch from Verizon, but it does not appear USCC has a similar package both price and coverage wise.

Unfortunatly USCC is not a nationwide provider. If you travel to all of those states a great deal then another company would better suit your needs. USCC concentrates on local territories so if you stay in a single state most of the time we can give you a much better deal on minutes than others.

Interesting - mine has 23.30.54. Wonder where I can get it flashed with the update?
So far the only thing I have noticed wrong with my version is that the ignition sense in the pro-install car kit does not like to turn this phone on, and only turns it off intermitently.
FYI - the part number for the v810 hang up cup is SYN0731A.
