Just a few days ago, the battle was between the V710 & the V810. Suddenly everyone has dropped the case of the V810 and non-stop rumors about the V710. Is the V810 going to be that horrible that no one pays attention anymore??? I know the V710 does A LOT more but hey its motorola and verizon together making the hype even bigger. So does anyone have a date for when this phone comes out???

I just spoke to moto cust service and they said: the 710 is ready to ship and theyre waiting for verizon and hopefully will b in stores in late may, early june. The 810 is on hold and might b released in august (wow) but maybe never, so... thats the story. Call Moto and theyll confirm this. Personally (this is just my opinion) the 810 failed several tests and isnt a good phone and to fix it etc takes to long and too much effort and isnt feasible because its last years model and to much time has elapsed and the 810 will just fade away. In few weeks, no one will ever even remember it.

I think everything's just fine, but people are only just now zeroing in on which phone will be the one for them.

People who might have been looking at the rumours concerning the V810 at the beginning of the process might now be realising that the V710 is really the biggest and bestest and they have set their sights on this bigger, more expensive phone.

We also have to face the fact that some features, like the speakerphone and Bluetooth, are just not going to be available on the smallest form factor.

So we need to decide if we want the smallest and most convenient phone to carry (V810) or the most fully equipped phone (V710).
