V810 vs A610

A610 will blow the V810 out of the water. They both will have 621 color screen, both have flash, But the Samsung is such a better quality phone. Ive held it, it was in my local verizon store but they couldnt sell it to me till the 10th!!!!!!!!!! Its a awesome phone smaller than the spint version updated screen, and a few games and features!!!

I respectfully disagree.

The A610 is big and clunky in comparison. It's got one of those flat keyboards that make dialing a real pain. And the rotating hinge thing is fad that will die just like tablet PCs are.

I think the V810 will have issues too but from the information available on these two handset now the V810 is a better choice.

I am a CSR and i cant tell you how many times i've talked to people with samsung phns that "freeze" or always say "calling" and the call never connects. We have to have them remove the battery for 5 secs and put it back on to correct this. I'm not a big fan of samsung phones. Plus since it's not a tri mode it takes away a pretty big part of your coverage area no matter who your service provider may be. To each his own.........

I personally think the A610 is very unattractive and the V810 is nearly uncomparable to it. Almost everyone that I have talked to has said the same thing. I find it hard to believe Verizon is coming out with the A610 now after other carriers have carried nearly identical phones for months. I agree with MegaBit that the rotating design will fade out. The top of the phone where SAMSUNG and the camera are looks bulky and visually unattractive to me. The V810 (from what I've seen of pictures) is smaller than the V60 (which is a pretty small phone). No external LCD is a big no-go for me, I don't plan on flipping the color display on the oustide only to have something break the screen. It's just such a pain to have to open the phone just to see wh...

a) stop speculating, if someone knows something, post it truthfully, i'm tired of everyone's heart-felt burning phone desires

b) it's a phone. keep working yourselves up on this what are you going to do on March 3rd when you already have it in your pocket?

c) OSCARS are NOT the GRAMMYS. Ergo, no phone because Oscars.

Why do you say the phone is going to be in "your pockets" on March 3rd?

This is not a speculation. I was in my store in california and I had a customer come in with the Motorola V.810 for Verizon Wireless. I couldn't believe it. This was most definitly the phone. I asked him if I could check the phone out. My conclusion for the phone is that it is smaller than the V60i in depth of the phone, The camera blows the VX6000 camera away, The flash works fairly good(not as clear as you would think) the menu styles are classic moto menu's, and last of all it looks nice. Oh and the ringer sound different than all the current phones. This customer recieved this phone as a gift from a client of his. He works in a photography studio that was taking the pictures of the phones, in the town that I am in, but I have no...

Well don't I feel like a big idiot for mistaking the Grammies for the Oscars at 5:15am when I posted. 🤭 Anyway...I just thought I would quickly post that I realized my mistake (along with the typo) and now realize the Oscars are February 29th. I still feel raulr's posting of the USA Today article has some credibility, considering it's source. Along with everyone else's postings, it says "due in stores in March." For anyone who didn't see the site, the link is below. I am fully aware that dates change, but I don't see how this site is garbage speculation or just my hopes and dreams kicking in. However, if only people who knew "hard, concrete evidence" posted on here...wouldn't it be just about bare? It seems common knowledge Verizon is ...

Bad news. Moto changed the giveaway product. They are now giving away the V600 at the Oscars.

PhoneyPhon:
"A610 will blow the V810 out of the water. They both will have 621 color screen"

Check again. The A610 is 65K. This is what
VZW employees know to be true, because many
stores already have them in stock.
