Interesting fact about the V810

Just to let everyone know, you can use the Motorola T731 battery on this phone. It fits perfectly, only setback is that is going to have less of a charge and is almost pointless since I couldn't find a housing that would reduce the size of the extended battery pack. So, we can get a smaller battery, but we cannot find a housing that would support it. If anyone has found a smaller housing to fit the smaller battery, please let me know.

You can purchase the slim battery cover for the v810 from Motorola's consumer site. Yes, the battery type is the same as the T720/30/31 phones. Verizon was to ship the v810 with the slim battery. USCC made the right call to ship it with the extended battery because as you pointed out, the slim battery does not last very long. During a normal day of use you will have one bar left.

If the v810 had shipped with the slim battery it would have been the phone's biggest issue by far. That said, I use both the slim and extended batteries. Its a pretty sleek phone with the slim battery and cover.

Thanks for the reply. So, do you have the slim battery and a cover already on your Motorola V810? If you do, do you know how I can get a slim Motorola cover for the phone? Because I already got a slim battery lying around, but I just need to find a slim cover for it to make the phone even smaller. So, if you can just let me know where I can find a slim battery cover for the phone, I would really appreciate it.
