HTC Desire (CDMA)

The Desire, Incredible and N1 are all sister phones, with minor changes (and of course gsm or cdma radios). All based on the same platform. Most of the differences are cosmetic and trackball. But the major difference is the N1 is a true Google Android phone. Honestly, the one I would choose would be dependent on carrier.
Similar HTC families would be like the Legend and Aria.

Im with ATT and i am jealous too. I think the Desire is the better phone with a smooth back, i would buy it quick.

HTC Desire is better than HTC Eris. HTC Incredible, while made by HTC, is of a different family, if you will, than Desire and Eris.

Evrodude- can you tell me specifially HOW the Desire is in a different family from the Incredbile? The only differences I know of are obviously are the the physical keys, smooth back, DVD quality output (not HDMI) and that the Desire has a 5MP camera not a 8MP like the Incredible. To me, the Desire is basically the little brother of the Incredible.
