Versed

Looks almost identical to the G2 with a CDMA radio, and back up GSM radio. Right down to the cpu, good pick up for VZW.

I'm not sure what you mean by "back up GSM radio", but be aware that this is a Verizon world phone. The GSM functions are strictly for international roaming. Verizon world phones will not roam on domestic GSM networks, even if they have the necessary radio support. That's because Verizon simply has no roaming agreements with any domestic GSM networks.

Just to be certain I understand this, does this mean that if I use this phone in the US, it won't roam at all? It will only work in reach of Verizon's towers?

It will roam onto other CDMA networks, just like any Verizon phone.

But it will not roam onto US GSM networks. You will get zero extra domestic roaming capability compared to a CDMA-only Verizon phone.
