can this phone work with other carriers and is there a SIM card?my wife wants to use this phone with her AT&T GoPhone account and is wondering if it is possible to switch this phone over to AT&T go phone. The only problem is she can't find where to put the sim card she needs in order to transfer all of your information to this phone.

Boost and Sprint use CDMA technology, as do Verizon, Cricket, Virgin Mobile and others. AT&T, on the other hand, uses GSM technology, along with T-Mobile and others. With CDMA tech the phone is identified by data permanently embedded in the phone. With GSM tech, like AT&T, the phone is identified primarily by a removable SIM card in the phone. According to the geeks the two technologies are incompatable. There might be a way to make it work but it would probably involve precise soldering, perhaps have some extra wires hanging out, or in any case cost more than a new phone to have done.
