The processor is very good. The processor type is more important than the raw speed in MHz. An 800 MHz processor can actually be faster than a 1 GHz processor.
There are many sync options for Android.
T-Mobile is rolling out UMA for Android.
Android is Java. It's not J2ME, but why on earth would you want that? Android apps are much better and more powerful than J2ME apps. J2ME is ancient and not originally designed for touch phones with modern UIs.
