If i were to buy this phone from AT&T, contract-free, and activate it through T-mobile, will i lose out on any features or experience any frequency issues?

Can this phone support T-Mobile's 3G network?

It will support TMobile on the 2G network, no 3G coverage due to the AWS 1700mhz for their 3G network...

Correct, but I'd still use it even though it only has 2G, T-Mo's 3G bb stays in EDGE most of the time anyway...

I think it will be available this coming Dec. or Jan. Not sure. How long was the exclusive on the 9700, seems like AT&T got it a few weeks afterwards.

BTW, not a fan of exclusives, maybe acceptable if it was a month or two. But I don't think its good that customers have to wait months. But AT&T isn't the only one guilty of this. All carriers have them. Both here and abroad.

Both AT&T and VZW have clout, together they have 62% of the US market. VZW got the Storm both 1 and 2. Now this.
