Anyone know how to get 2.2 another way?

I just bought three used Vibrants. One has Froyo on it already and the other ones are still running Eclair. I kept one and gave one to my wife. I'm planning on selling the other one. I wanted to update them but, nothing seems to work. The TMo rep told me to get Kies, which I did but, it crashes everytime. I have the newest version of Samsung Studio and it says that the phone is unregistered and will not update there either. I have been reading about roms and have checked out XDA but, I'm not familar enough with the software to do all that is needed to get a Rom from there. I just want a simple "click" and your software is updated type thing. I know that the Froyo update is out there but, just can't seem to find it anywhere. I mean if I have ...

Haven't had those issues with the music player, so I'm no help there.

I can say, however, that flashing custom ROMs is much, much easier than it sounds.

I don't mind messing around a bit but, I am new to Android. I have been a loyal WinMo customer for years and finally converted. I just don't want to "brick" my phone doing something I don't totally understand. After figuring out the issue with the Kies update I'm pretty happy with FroYo so far. I haven't had any new issues with my music player freezing up since I free'd up some space but, I would like to be able to take my whole collection with me. I love this phone so far but, the touchscreen will take a while to get used to, I have usually always had a slide out to use, there was that one Blackberry incident though. The nice thing about the Blackberry Storm that I used briefly was that you actually had to press the screen to type which mad...
