Why 1.2 version Bluetooth?

Industry standard right now is 2.0 with versions of 3.0 Bluetooth on the close horizon. Why would you build a phone with 1.2 version bluetooth? That's like building a brand new computer with the latest hardware, and installing Windows 95 on it.

It's not Bluetooth 1.2.

Don't confuse the version number of some specific profiles with the overall Bluetooth version. While is has HSP 1.2 and A2DP 1.2, that's very common and has nothing to do with the overall Bluetooth version.

It's either Bluetooth 2.1 or 3.0. LG claims it's 2.1, but the Bluetooth SIG approval for this phone shows 3.0. There's a mistake somewhere. We've asked for clarification from LG, but they have yet to respond.

Therefore we currently list no specific Bluetooth version for this phone.
